The Big and Medium Baitrunners are back and they are fully stocked with the best Shimano technologies. The reels feature a large AR-C spool with slow oscillation in combination with the Aero Wrap II line lay system. This combination ensures maximum distance casting performance.
The X-Ship system is present ensuring a smooth power transfer and stability of the gears thanks to the two-point support of the pinion gear by ball bearings.
Internally all 4 ball bearings are shielded A-RB for increased durability and the gears have been redesigned to minimise friction and increase power transfer from the long aluminum handle to the rotor. This delivers more torque and winding power making fish playing easier and delivering more control. This Big Baitrunner, with its awesome casting performance is perfect for the largetst carp waters. The use of CI4+ delivers a substantial weight saving on the compact Ultegra body making rod speed easier to generate when distance casting. To further increase casting performance the Ultegra uses 2 Speed Slow Oscillation line lay and an AR-C spool fitted with the Hi-Speed Drag mechanism. Cold Forged HAGANE gearing and X-Ship produce powerful winding performance and 5 Stainless A-RB bearings plus a Shimano Roller bearing deliver supreme smoothness. The reel is protected according to Shimano's latest innovation X-Protect which will guarantee to protect the reel's inner parts against intrusion from water and dirt. The G Free Body in combination with the Parallel Body will help the angler to achieve long and accurate cast without unnecessary fatigue throughout the day. The new Shimano Ultegra CI4+ has a very compact body design which contributes to the feel of a compact and lightweight big pit reel.

It has a relatively small body which gives it a compact feel. The Parallel Body feature is added to increase casting distance and accuracy by eliminating line slap during the cast. The Parallel Body in combination with the superb line-lay of the Super Slow 5 system will make sure that you can always cast your baits right where you want them. The Hi-Speed drag - which is even faster than Instant Drag - enables you to switch instantly from freespool mode to fight mode by only a very small turn of the drag knob.

Built around the same compact chassis developed for the Cast'izm BR the Emblem BR also offers a shortened 25mm mini big pit spool.
This reduced shape makes the Emblem perfect for medium water set ups but thanks to the innovative spool geometry it will still deliver remarkable casting distances. However with a top crank rate of 107cm big casts are quickly recovered.

Other features such as High Impact Line Clip, Air Bail, Air Rotor and the UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag) ensure the Emblem BR still delivers a solid and reliable performance usually found at higher price point.

Designed around the proven and groundbreaking spool geometry of the Cast'izm 'mini big pit' this BR edition is certain to offer the best of both worlds. Developed in close consultation with team Korda it has been extensively field tested and refined.
Maintaining that 'compact' shape, thanks to the 25mm stroke, we have redesigned the Bite 'n' Run mechanism to operate within the reduced body size. Experience the crisp operation of the BR trigger and feel the solid engineering at once.
Reach far out casting distances with ease thanks to the balance of a shallow spool taper and high diameter; the Cast'izm concept.

The innovation also extends to the water barrier of Mag Sealed within the rotor. Halting the intrusion of soluble debris and fine abrasives the showroom rotation and precise gear meshing will remain protected and smooth for longer. This technology is unique.
Thanks to the 5.3:1 and over 200mm circumference of a filled spool the Cast'izm BR will crank up to 107cm per handle turn; that's swift and just as well for those fishing far out.

The manual bail closure is supported by Castlock, securing the bail in place during the cast, letting you apply smooth and controlled closure. The BR also features the Daiwa HIP line clip and is supplied with a spare spool.
