The philosophy behind the Darent Valley rod range is to take advantage of modern manufacturing techniques and materials to create exceptionally high performance at a very affordable price.

The blank of this rod was a factory design so all we needed to do was to apply the same build principles used for the rest of the range.
This rod is more suited for longer casts, bigger/weedier waters, bigger rivers, the pursuit of specimen tench, bream and very capable of handling larger carp.
It has the same slim-line good looks, cosmetics, 'Fold Friendly' ringing, excellent balance and value for money price tag. Supplied with two tips, one is an Avon style tip and the other is a quiver tip top with two push-in quiver tips, one carbon for faster flows and the other for slower flows and still waters. Supplied in a lightweight rod and reel sleeve.

    FEATURES

Bought this rod to handle fast tidal rivers. Fantastic quality for price and carbon quiver makes a big difference. Reel seating a little small, my Greys baitrunner barely fits. But overall tremendous value.
A lovely rod, has all the good features of its 1.25lb. brother. In particular, it has an equally nice playing action, but with just the right amount of extra backbone.
