The Aero Technium MgS is the flagship model of the big pit range. Its a unique reel in the market with only the very best components. The list of features on this reel is huge: every bit of technology Shimano can put in a big pit reel, has been applied to this reel. It weights only 485 grams due to the usage of lightweight Ci4+ materials (rotor), Magnesium (body) and lightweight aluminum (all other parts). However, the light weight of the reel does not mean concessions has been made on the strength or durability of the reel.
Hagane Body for ultimate protection and rigidity, Hagane Gearing (cold forged) for ultimate gear strength and longevity, X-Protect water/dust protection and a very strong titanium one-piece bail. The Super Slow 10 oscillation system provides the perfect parallel line-lay, which will result in gaining the best casting distance and precision possible. Supplied with 2 aluminium ARC spools.
