Super rod for the money. Bought two of these on the strength of various good things I’d read about them - wanted a lower test curve, more ‘traditional’ soft rod for margin/close range carp fishing & floater work & these are perfect. They balance very well with a small Baitrunner such as the Shimano 4000 ST FB. Obviously, you don’t expect high-end fittings & finish on a rod costing 50-odd quid, but the standard of build & finish on these is surprisingly good. Highly recommended if anyone’s in the market for similar & doesn’t want to spend the earth.
