Since we launched the Darent Valley rod range they have become very popular across the whole range, and in recent times we have been asked for more ‘Up Market’ versions, but still maintaining the nice feel and excellent performance of the current models. So with a bit more in the budget we set about creating a range using higher quality carbon which gave a sleeker looking blank and cosmetic appearance, using an inverted 1k carbon weave, and finer build components.
The blanks of the Elite Darent Valley rods are crisper than the originals, and have a ‘Lifelong’ finish, the finished rods have better quality reel seats and rod guides, finer cork handles and come with a more substantial, technical rod & reel sleeve.
We feel that we have achieved the ‘up market’tag on these rods and maintained the performance associated with the Darent Valley name, it’s now down to you, the end user to judge how well we’ve done…. Enjoy.
